As our junior Data Engineer ("Werkstudent" / working student) you will make data work for us. You will be planning and building our data infrastructure, integrating people (team and partners), machinery and digital systems. We have the opportunity to leverage cutting edge technologies without any legacy.

🛠 Your accountabilities

At PROJECT EADEN we consider insights based on data as one of our core assets to make our vision reality. There is a lot of data to make sense of: From lab experiments to time dependent sensory data from our processes, and feedback from consumers and experts.

• You support us implementing cutting edge data infrastructure: Together with our partners you'll connect different data sources, store and make data available for analysis and visualisation.  You'll help building a flexible infrastructure that is easy to understand, maintain.
  
• You think data longterm by developing the foundation for data driven learning and optimisation.
• You enable us to generate quick wins and valuable insights along the way.
• You coordinate data related projects with our great partners to make everything work seamlessly.

☯ You are a good fit if …

• You are an enrolled student (Bachelor's/Master's) in computer science, data science, information technology, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
• You are interested in digitalisation and have a basic understanding of technology
  (e.g. playing around with IoT or smart home tech like Node-RED, MQTT, Docker, home assistants)
• Python is your friend and together you have setup first ETL-processes and communicated with some APIs
• You have some experiences with databases and SQL
• You are communicative and enjoy working with small flexible teams
• You embrace flexibility, organisation combined with a hands-on mentality
• Your GitHub account hasn't been orphaned since your high school days
• You are passionate to be working on something meaningful
