Job requirements
🛠 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop PLC programs for industrial automation processes. Program across multiple platforms including Beckhoff and Siemens.
Configure and maintain SCADA systems for process monitoring and control. Set up data collection, alarms, and reporting systems.
Create and maintain HMI screens for process visualization and operator control interfaces.
Troubleshoot control system issues in real-time continuous manufacturing environments.
Develop and maintain control system documentation, including I/O lists and network diagrams.
Commission new automation systems and perform system upgrades.
Implement safety systems and ensure compliance with industrial safety standards.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize performance.
☯ YOU’RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE...
Bachelor's or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls. Ideally in continuous manufacturing and critical hygiene industries
Strong experience with PLC programming including Structured Text and Ladder Logic
Proficiency with Beckhoff and Siemens automation software and ecosystems
Experience with SCADA/HMI development and configuration
Knowledge of IoT and Industrial communication protocols such as OPCUA and MQTT
Understanding of industrial safety standards and regulations
Experience reading, interpreting and creating electrical schematics
Experience with storing, manipulating and visualizing manufacturing data
Strong problem-solving abilities in fast paced manufacturing environments
Strong communication skills in both English and German
