Job description

Join Project Eaden as Supply Chain Planner

Climate change is accelerating, with meat production as a major driver. Yet billions of people love eating it, and global consumption continues to rise. At Project Eaden, we believe the solution lies in creating a new generation of delicious, animal-free meat that billions can enjoy—helping save the planet in the process.

If you thrive on solving complex supply chain puzzles and have hands-on FMCG experience managing multi-channel distribution, this is your chance to build something extraordinary. Join us now as we scale operations in a fast-growing, purpose-driven startup where supply chain solutions become a competitive advantage.

In this role, you'll orchestrate our end-to-end supply and demand planning across retail channels and co-manufacturing partnerships. You'll be the strategic mind that ensures we forecast demand, optimise production output and inventory levels to match demand, and build resilient supply chains to fullfill our demand.

This is your opportunity to turn ideas into action and help tackle one of the planet’s most pressing challenges. Let’s build a sustainable future together.

🛠 Key responsibilities

  • Supply & demand planning excellence: Develop and maintain S&OP processes that balance customer demand with production capacity across our own facilities and co-manufacturing partners. Create rolling forecasts that integrate seasonal patterns, promotional activities, and market trends while maintaining optimal service levels.

  • Smart operations system: Refine our operations models and data structures that integrate incoming goods, inventory tracking, production, logistics, and stock levels along the supply chain. Ensure clean and complete data at all times which is the fundamental basis for efficient procurement, gapless batch tracking and meeting product demands across all retail channels.

  • SAP implementation leadership: Drive our transition from spreadsheet-based data and planning tools to SAP where applicable. Lead the planning module rollout scheduled for Q3, ensuring seamless data integration and process optimization.

  • Interdisciplinary stakeholder engagement: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as production, purchasing, finance, and product development to facilitate seamless data updates and integration.

  • Volume forecasting: Continuously optimize and update our volume forecast that integrates production capacities, client orders and efficient stock management ensuring sufficient product to supply our customers at all times.

  • Performance optimization: Continuously identify inefficiencies and design initiatives to improve performance and to streamline processes.

🧠 Requirements

  • Professional Experience: 3-5 years in supply chain planning within FMCG companies, with experience in food manufacturing, and co-manufacturing partnerships. You understand the rhythm of FMCG operations and the importance of perfect availability.

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, ideally with a focus on data analysis and operational systems.

  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Strong expertise in analyzing supply chain datasets, scenario analysis, and creating data-driven recommendations and decisions. You excel at balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, align with diverse stakeholders, and communicate effectively across levels.

  • Operational Agility: A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
