Job description
Join Project Eaden as Supply Chain Data Analyst
Climate change is accelerating, with meat production as a major driver. Yet billions of people love eating it, and global consumption continues to rise. At Project Eaden, we believe the solution lies in creating a new generation of delicious, animal-free meat that billions can enjoy—helping save the planet in the process.
If you thrive on extracting insights from complex supply chain data and transforming numbers into actionable intelligence, this is your chance to build something extraordinary. Join us now as we scale operations in a fast-growing, purpose-driven startup where supply chain solutions become a competitive advantage.
In this role, you'll be the analytical powerhouse behind our supply chain decisions, turning raw data into strategic insights that drive efficiency across our end-to-end operations. You'll analyze demand patterns, optimize inventory levels, identify bottlenecks, and build predictive models that ensure our revolutionary products reach customers seamlessly while minimizing costs and waste.
This is more than a job—it’s your opportunity to turn ideas into action and help tackle one of the planet’s most pressing challenges. Let’s build a sustainable future together.
🛠 Key responsibilities
Supply & demand planning excellence: Develop and maintain S&OP processes that balance customer demand with production capacity across our own facilities and co-manufacturing partners. Create rolling forecasts that integrate seasonal patterns, promotional activities, and market trends while maintaining optimal service levels.
Smart operations system: Further develop and refine our operations models and data structures that integrate incoming goods registration, inventory tracking, production logs, logistics, and stock overviews along the supply chain. Ensure clean and complete data at all times which serves as the fundamental basis for efficient procurement, gapless batch tracking and meeting product demands across all retail channels.
SAP implementation leadership: Drive our transition from spreadsheet-based planning to SAP-integrated processes. Lead the planning module rollout scheduled for Q3, ensuring seamless data integration and process optimization.
Cross-functional data collaboration: Partner with production, purchasing, finance, and product development teams to understand data requirements, validate analytical findings, and ensure insights drive concrete business improvements across departments.
Predictive modeling & optimization: Develop and maintain statistical models for demand forecasting, safety stock optimization, and production planning. Continuously refine algorithms based on performance data and market changes to improve forecast accuracy and reduce inventory costs.
Performance optimization: Continuously identify inefficiencies and design initiatives to improve performance and to streamline processes.
🧠 Requirements
Professional Experience: 3-5 years in supply chain analytics or data analysis within FMCG companies, with demonstrated experience in food manufacturing data environments. You've successfully translated complex datasets into business value.
Educational Background: Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative field with strong analytical coursework.
Technical and Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI). Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred). Strong Excel skills for ad-hoc analysis.
Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, align with diverse stakeholders, and communicate effectively across levels.
